The Rooted Path Strategy Way

Reveal the Roots

See what’s really happening beneath the surface.
We start by uncovering the actual conditions of work — the bottlenecks, redundancies, unclear roles, and well-intentioned processes that have grown tangled over time. This step creates shared understanding and a grounded baseline for change.

Clear the Path

Remove what’s overbuilt so work can flow again.
Working alongside your team, we simplify processes, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and redesign workflows with intention. This is where your people begin learning how to create clarity themselves.

Grow Capability

Develop internal leaders so the work becomes theirs.
Instead of delivering a solution and disappearing, we mentor the individuals who will carry this work forward. They learn to observe, problem-solve, communicate, and lead continuous improvements — without relying on a consultant.

Sustain Momentum

Embed habits and structures that keep clarity alive.
We help your team integrate what they’ve learned into daily operations. This ensures your organization continues to grow long after we’ve stepped away — the ultimate measure of success.

I help organizations grow in the hard places.

I’m the founder of Rooted Path Strategies, LLC — a consultancy built on the belief that clarity is compassion, and that people do their best work when the systems around them support them rather than slow them down.

For years, I’ve helped teams in research environments, national laboratories, and fast-growing business units uncover what’s not working, simplify what’s overbuilt, and create processes that actually make sense. Along the way, I learned something essential:

Organizations don’t struggle because people aren’t trying. They struggle because the path has become overgrown.

I started Rooted Path Strategies to help clear that path — not by adding more complexity, but by stripping it away.

My approach is different.

I don’t want your organization to depend on me.

You won’t find consultant-owned frameworks or complicated systems here. When I work with you, I look for the people in your organization who are ready to learn, grow, and take ownership. Together, we untangle the complexity, rebuild processes with clarity, and develop the internal capability to sustain change long after I’ve stepped away.

I guide. I mentor. I transfer ownership.

My goal is simple: Leave your organization healthier, clearer, and more confident than I found it.

Why “Rooted Path”?

Because meaningful growth doesn’t start with speed — it starts with stability. Deep roots. Clear values. A grounded understanding of how work really gets done.

And once those foundations are in place, the path forward becomes clearer.

The Rooted Path name reflects: - Roots → the people, the culture, the values that support sustainable change - Path → clarity, direction, and intentional forward movement - Strategies → the practical, human-centered tools that help your team grow

This is not transformation for transformation’s sake. It’s growth that lasts — because it comes from within your organization, not from me.

What I Believe:

  • Small shifts create big impact. Bureaucracy doesn’t require dramatic overhauls — just clarity.

  • People are the roots of any good system. When they feel equipped, everything else improves.

  • Sustainability matters more than speed. Change delivered without capability is just dependency in disguise.

  • Kindness is strategic. The way we lead affects the way people show up.

  • Clarity is a gift. And organizations deserve more of it.
